Description

Cymbidium atropurpurem is a large, terrestrial or lithophytic species, native to Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Borneo, Sumatra and the Philippines), where it grows in lowland plains and forests between sea level and 1630 meters above sea level.

Summer/autumn flowering, on a long stem, bearing numerous red-brown flowers with white and burgundy lip.
