Synonyme Gongora gratulabunda (forma jaune de gratulabunda)
Orchidée épiphyte, de taille moyenne originaire de Colombie où elle pousse dans les forêts de montagne humides entre 850 et 1600 mètres d'altitude.
Floraison printemps/été, produit des hampes retombantes, portant jusqu'à 12 fleurs jaunes d'environ 5 cm d'envergure, parfumées.
Plante livrée non fleurie, sauf mention contraire.
